Sarah Bontrager, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Golden Hill Office Center, a Ph.D. candidate in The Philosophy of Performance Psychology at Grand Canyon University, and psychology professor at Colorado Christian University. She is a Colorado native and currently resides in Golden with her husband of 25 years, and their four children, ages 13-22. Sarah is passionate about engaging authentically with relevant issues, utilizing a whole-body theology approach to address pressing mental health concerns facing teens, athletes, families, couples, and children. Her specialties include working with depression and anxiety, faith questions, using therapy and somatic techniques for athletes facing performance challenges, life-stage adjustments, parenting, trauma, grief, and family relationships.
